Ron Bradfield Jnr is a Bard, Jawi man of the saltwater peoples around Djarindjin / Lombadina, Western Australia.
Born in Mooniemia (Northampton), he grew up in Jambinu (Geraldton), but now calls Walyalup (Fremantle) his home.
Join the State Buildings at the Mark, as storyteller and artist, Ron tells and makes stories that unpick his own personal experiences surviving our society. He shares his stories of himself as a child and an adult and, as a member of the Australian Defence Force and as an Australian ‘citizen’.
Tapping into the physical memories of that time then and retelling his stories now, Ron challenges other Australians about how they remember the places they grew up in and the experiences they had in a shared and comfortable setting bringing together a true yarning circle.
