New to Perth, Affinity is an immersive interactive light and sound installation inspired by the human brain.

Affinity will illuminate Cathedral Square during May with over 70 orbs of light, reaching up to 3.5m high, in an installation representing neurons and connections in the brain.

The artwork will change as audiences touch each sphere of light. The more that people engage with Affinity, the further light travels throughout the sculpture.

Affinity features 62 different colour combinations and over 100 points of interaction.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE AFFINITY

The Cathedral Square Lawn will light up from 6pm to 9pm every evening in May. Affinity is best experienced by accessing the Cathedral Square Lawn.

Please be aware, due to Affinity having some flashing lights this may affect those who have photosensitive epilepsy.
